What is it?

A social detective duo for children 6+ to learn to be "socially smart". To notice the social world and figure out what is happening across different situations. It is part of a wider social thinking curriculum to develop children's social competencies and well-being.

How it works

The duo runs for 8 weeks, with 2 (matched) children. It can start anytime of year.

What does a session look like?

Each session reinforces key social vocabulary to consolidate learning; follow a duo plan, take turns in conversation, whole-body listening, thinking with eyes, ears, heart and brain, figuring out other's thoughts and feelings.

Objective

To help children develop skills in observing, understanding, and interpreting social cues and situations. These skills are foundational for building friendships.

How to get started?

Enquire below or through our web-form. We will need to pair your child with an appropriate peer, which may require a wait time. An 8-week commitment is required. An initial parent-child consultation will start the process.
