WHAT WE OFFER
SPECIALIST DEVELOPMENTAL ASSESSMENTS
We love supporting individuals with their assessment journeys. Our Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician and Senior Psychologist offer comprehensive developmental assessments, using best practise standardised test administrations. An assessment may be recommended if you have concerns for your child’s development and would like support to understand if your child’s differences require therapy and support. Developmental assessments may address differences in relation to developmental delay, Autism, ADHD, and Intellectual Disability. We are very excited to offer general paediatric support and services as well.
EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTS AND LEARNING DIFFICULTIES
Our psychologists are passionate about providing comprehensive educational psychology assessments for your child. Parent or school concerns may relate to evaluation of Giftedness, Twice-exceptionality, Specific Learning Disorders such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, processing disorders, low motivation with learning or increased anxiety in relation to learning.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our experienced OT’s are specialists in all things sensory, fine motor, gross motor, play, social skills, reflex integration, school readiness, behaviour, adaptive behaviour and parent support. With their fun, nurturing, compassionate approach your child will feel in safe hands across their individual journey. Supporting differences with sensory processing, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and developmental delay, contact us to discuss if occupational therapy would be a good fit for your child enhancing their strengths and addressing difficulties.
SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY
Our creative and nurturing SLT’s offer specialist support for tamariki with speech delay, communication challenges, literacy difficulties, and feeding disorders. From infants to teenagers, our SLT’s support speech and language delay, language processing, auditory processing, dysphasia, dyspraxia, articulation, literacy development, phonological difficulties, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Our SLT’s can meet the best needs of your child from assessment through therapy with a compassionate, fun, intentional approach based on evidence and experience.
CHILD PSYCHOLOGY OR PARENT COACHING SESSIONS
Psychology sessions offer support for behavior struggles, emotional regulation, social skills, friendships, bullying, anxiety, depression, resilience, coping, confidence, self-esteem, grief and loss. Child sessions or parent coaching sessions may be recommended depending on your child’s age and presentation.
GROUP PROGRAMS
Our OT’s, SLT’s, and Psychologists offer a range of fun and empowering term and school holiday group programs to suit various ages and concerns. From social skills duo sessions to larger school readiness, anxiety, and social skills groups. Group programs can be a wonderful opportunity to learn from practitioners and peers, in a fun, inclusive setting.
MENTAL HEALTH URGENT CONCERNS
Our team includes paediatricians and psychologists supporting your child and family. However, we are a community based clinic, unable to provide emergency care for mental health.
