WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our clinic is now open located at 126A Remuera Road, Remuera, Auckland.

We have parking under the building, please come down the driveway and there are 4 smallish parks undercover, and 1 park at the end of the outdoor parks. These are signposted. Otherwise please park on the street, noting the clearway times.

*We have one flight of stairs to climb on arrival. You are welcome to leave your pram or stroller in the entry area under the stairs. Please discuss any mobility needs with admin prior to your appointment date if needed.

Outside of Auckland, video telehealth services are available for locations across NZ.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

Admin hours operate between 8.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, 9am – 3pm on a Friday. The clinic is open for appointment bookings Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm. Additionally, psychology and occupational therapy appointments may be offered on a Saturday. Email is the quickest way to reach us. Our practitioners work various schedules. If you have a last minute cancellation outside of admin hours please reply to your booking reminder text and follow up with an email noted URGENT, including your child’s name and the practitioner they are seeing to admin@cubbiehouse.co.nz

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes, a strict cancellation policy is required to keep the lights on and the business running.

All appointments are required to be paid in full 48 hours ahead of your appointment. (This is two business days ahead of your appointment, excluding weekends). An invoice will be sent with the details of your appointment and the payment information. Please support us in ensuring prompt payment occurs, this will re-confirm your appointment.

But help! Something happens between the payment and the appointment. We completely understand that life can happen, we will try to be as accommodating as we can. However, please appreciate that our rent, admin, and practitioners still need to be paid.

If you need to cancel the appointment within the 48-hour period (excl weekends), for any reason, in the first instance admin will try to backfill the appointment with another client from the waitlist. This is only offered within office hours and cannot be guaranteed. The next option is that you will be offered a video telehealth parent call instead of a child clinic appointment. Failing this, the practitioner will use the time to provide resources, information, school letters, or any other relevant support that can benefit your child and your family instead of the appointment.

**Assessment bookings will require a deposit paid 48 hours ahead (excl weekends) of the first appointment, followed by full payment by the date stated on the invoice.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY SESSION?

We accept bank transfer deposits for payment. The details will be supplied on the invoice via email. When you transfer the fee outstanding, please provide the invoice number and client name.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED?

An exceptional quality of service is very important to us here at Cubbiehouse, if you are not satisfied with how your session has gone, please provide feedback via email, within 7 days of your session, to ensure the practitioner can appropriately rectify your concerns.

CAN I USE MY HEALTH INSURANCE?

Our Paediatricians are Southern Cross affiliated providers (please provide your number prior to your appointment). Initial and follow-up appointments may be covered by Southern Cross, depending on your individual policy; in some cases, a surcharge may be applicable. Please double-check with Southern Cross well ahead of your appointment.

Please note – Southern Cross only covers some Developmental, or ADHD/Autism assessments, and additional assessment costs with a Paediatrician or our Senior Psychologist may be required. Costs will be quoted prior to bookings. Please double-check with Southern Cross in relation to your individual policy for both paediatrician and psychology services.

For other health Insurers – please double-check your policy well ahead of your appointment. For most insurers, currently you will need to make a payment to Cubbiehouse directly and then claim the rebates from your insurer with the paid receipt.

Health insurance rarely covers the cost of our allied health practitioners, although this is starting to change, and please double-check with your insurer well ahead of your appointment.
